Why Adey?

Most dating apps treat everyone the same. Adey is different. We built it around the values, languages, and social rhythms of the Habesha community — because cultural context changes everything about how people connect.

The name comes from the Adey flower (አደይ አበባ), which blooms across Ethiopian highlands at the start of the new year. It represents new beginnings, beauty, and hope — the same things we want every user to feel when they open the app.
